Day 34 Lockerbie to Kirkcudbright

Accommodation: Royal Hotel.

On return from Lockerbie, stopped off at C & G Cycle Centre in Dumfries. They very kindly supplied and fitted new rear brakepads and checked the bike over making any necessary adjustments, they didnt charge me for a fantastic service - thanks guys!

Reached the 2000 miles marker at Sandyhills, a nice spot on the coast a few miles south of Dalbeattie. Not too hard a day's cycle despite the numerous rolling hills. Royal Hotel in Kirkcudbright made a £10 donation to charity.
